Vicki Mitman qualified as a solicitor in 2011, initially working with a specialist franchise firm and later joining a large regional firm to assist with the development of their franchise offering, which provided an opportunity for her to work with a wide variety of franchise and corporate clients. Vicki joined NMW as a consultant in April 2018 in order to focus on franchising.
Vicki's background in franchising, both as a director of an international franchisor and a franchise lawyer, gives her a unique and varied experience. Having first-hand experience of life as a franchisor means that Vicki's advice is commercial and realistic.
In her other roles, Vicki offers support with franchise management and development, as well as the creation and updating of franchise operation manuals which underpin the franchise agreement and training process.
Vicki achieved ‘Qualified Franchise Professional’ status in 2015, and has been actively involved with the franchise industry and the British Franchise Association (bfa) for many years. She has served as Chair of the bfa Affiliate Forum and on the bfa Membership Committee. Vicki also chaired the East Regional meetings of Encouraging Women Into Franchising (EWIF) for more than 5 years, and has received EWIF awards for Service Provider in Franchising (2017) and Young Woman in Franchising (2015).
